Marriott Cafe Weekday Dinner Buffet

Oh gosh, what should I even start saying? First of all guys, check Marriott Cafe's Buffet Menu before you go for their dinner buffet. It's just $8 more for Friday & Saturday Dinner Buffet and you then can enjoy unlimited Boston Lobsters.

My usual buffet routine, salad first it will only be... Pretty much varieties and they even have quinoa.

No lobsters... Only for Dinner Buffet Friday & Saturday. The crayfish was tasteless and the fresh oysters were too salty (soaked in salt water).

The Sushi was just average, Salmon Sashimi was fresh but the cutting skill was bad and the Tuna Sashimi was not very fresh too.

If you take fatty pork, try the Pork Jowl it was very well cooked and it melts in your mouth when the moment you close your mouth tasting it. Don't be afraid to take some vegetables, the spinach with cream was also very well cooked.

If you want to try something different from the usual Tomato Sauce or the Cream sauce, ask the Chef to mix Tomato Sauce and Cream Sauce together. He made it just right for my pasta and sprinkle some chili flakes and grated cheese yourself and make it your own.

I was searching for parsley flakes but there wasn't any, so I went to the noodle soup station found myself some seaweed flakes to replace parsley flakes and it tasted better.

There was no Laksa today so I picked the herbal broth, it was actually not bad. At least, some twist and not Laksa again.

Lastly, the dessert stations... The glass cups none of them were good, too much essence scents.. Desserts overall were too simple and basic, hope they will improve more on the desserts.

Hmm...... To be honest, I do have quite a high expectations for Marriott Cafe but it was super not worth it for the price charged, I will not come back again, besides the Pork Jowl, Spinach and Pasta none were really good, I mean for a highly raved Hotel Buffet should put in more effort in providing better quality food and more choices.

The staffs were very efficient and helpful, thumbs up for their fast service.

**If you really want to try their Dinner Buffet, go during Friday & Saturday because only Friday and Saturday they have unlimited Boston Lobsters.
