Antoinette Mandarin Gallery

I dare to say Antoinette's Chef Pang has always maintain his name as one of the best Pastry Chef in Singapore. I am always surprised by his new creations of new flavors and top quality patisseries well-maintained standards. I have been visiting Antoinette Mandarin Gallery branch frequently after Antoinette Palais Renaissance branch closed down.

The new creation, Orient, salted egg cremeux with lotus seed mousse, coconut cake, salted peanut sesame praline crispy. You have to try it if you love salted egg, it taste like a less sweeter version of mooncake flavor with salted egg lava cream flowing all over the cake when you cut it open. What a simple idea reacting a mind-blowing invention with various components going on just like a fantasy.

The Charlotte IV, white chocolate violet flower mousse, cassis strawberry jelly, strawberry cremeux, finger sponge, almond crumble.

Reminds me so much of Flor's Blue Donut but Flor revamped it to another flavor so there is no more Blue Donut available which was my favorite cake at Flor that makes me a coming back customer in the past.

Charlotte IV hopefully will continue and fulfill my cake cravings for the time being.

Antoinette also produces great macarons which in my opinion less sweeter and they are better than laduree.

*Avoid weekend afternoon-tea timing or if not join the queue because the seats are insufficient to fill so many people in and usually the diners will sit there on their very comfortable Victorian chairs for a longer time to enjoy the patisseries over a cup of tea.
